This student residential development is located on the corner of Rockingham Street and Portobello Street in Sheffield city centre. 

The building is seven floors high and provides 103 student bedrooms on the upper floors, with a common room and private landscaped courtyard for the residents on the ground floor. A total of 12 secure car parking spaces are also provided.

The design ethos for this development was to create an urban ‘perimeter block’ with a south facing courtyard. This provides an attractive aspect for the apartments and allows excellent levels of natural daylight to penetrate into the interior. 

The building is clad in a distinctive black brick and a key feature is the large aligned window openings which create an orderly and well proportioned facade.
